  • Specific Knowledge - Depending on your medical history and your current condition you may need a trainer who has the knowledge about your condition(s). Make sure to advise your Personal Trainer of all your conditions, injuries or concerns before you begin training.
  • Personality - You should be comfortable with your Personal Trainer and get along well with him or her.  Your Trainer should also be a good listener and be very focused with you during the workouts.

The first assessment with your Personal Trainer:

Prior to beginning your first workout, your trainer will do a fitness assessment, talk with you about your goals, and set up a workout schedule. During your initial meeting you should let your trainer know about any medical conditions or any injuries you may have.
